Responsibilities

  • Design develop Navigation Software that meets design, architecture and coding standards.
  • Develop & Implement System, Functional requirements, Software requirements specifications, Interface documents.
  • Create automated testing applications, harnesses, and unit tests.
  • Assist with feature specifications.
  • Conduct data analysis to Identify Bugs/Issues to perform root cause analysis for continuous improvements.
  • Aggressively recognizes and pursues architecture and design improvements.
  • Suggests and participates in evaluation of tools to improve development results.
  • Conduct design, software applications reviews for customer and industry partner on Navigation products.
  • Identify and suggest future Navigation product designs, specifications, features and performance.
  • Provide Seminars, training and demonstrations at conferences on products, software, tools to customers, Sales-Rep partners and Distribution partners.
  • Stay up to date on latest technologies, tools and software solutions and collaborate with others on how to leverage them.
  • Identify, define, and design-in solutions that will contribute materially to the growth and profitability of the company.

Requirements

Requires Master’s in ELECTRICAL ENG/PHYSICS/MECH ENG/RLTED + 24 months experience. Requires proficiency in ANALYTICAL OR SCIENTIFIC SOFTWARE MATLAB, SIMULINK, DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT & OBJECT SOFTWARE C, C++, PYTHON, BATCH SCRIPTING, LINUX ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY: KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNICAL & PRACTICAL PRINCIPLES, TECHNIQUES OF NAVIGATION SYSTEMS, SENSOR FUSION TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM (GNSS), INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNITS (IMU), ODOMETRY, KALMAN FILTERS, POSITION ORIENTATION SOLUTION ESTIMATION (POSE) ALGORITHM DESIGN DEVELOPMENT.
