Product Manager, Current Sensor

Job Title: Product Manager, Current Sensor

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced product manager with general knowledge of current sensing and/or power semiconductor solutions and sub-systems for industrial and/or automotive end-markets, to join a fast growing entrepreneurial culture. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager; some hands on engineering experience and aptitude is a plus. As a product manager, you will act as a general manager and champion for your product line, with the overall goal of growing market share, revenue, and profit.

The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge in some segment of power or power conversion, and should be familiar with basic analog and power electronics. He/she should also have experience in managing products through the complete lifecycle (including product planning, product definition, competitive analysis, guiding product development, product marketing and promotion, as well as tactical functions such as pricing and forecasting.

Responsibilities: 

  • BSEE required, engineering design experience is a plus
  • Customer engagement, product definition, product roadmaps
  • Provide direction to sales team on target markets and accounts
  • Business Planning, competitive analysis, and defining target markets
  • Lead / guide products specs/ datasheet
  • Engagement and matrix leadership of product development. Review performance data with engineering team, make decisions on tradeoffs and priorities, with the goal of maximizing profit.
  • Launching new products with marketing/promotion plans
  • Setting annual revenue plans, working with sales to solidify forecasts
  • Develop sales collateral, product roadmaps, promotion strategy, trade shows to attend, etc.
  • Significant travel involved (variable depending on the situation, but probably averages 10% ~ 25%).
  • Requires a great attitude, high level of energy and passion
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers, sales personnel, internal R&D team, and executive management.
